“Functionality and dual purpose are always high on our priority list for case goods but sometimes, a piece is just perfectly pretty,” say Kandrac and Kole. “For example, we raided a client’s attic one time and found an old sewing machine table that we ended up using as a nightstand. It didn’t have all the drawers that we might have normally wanted, but it was beautiful and sentimental.”
