NL: Pompentechniek West joins forces with Johnson Pump for swift repair solutions

Johnson Pump, a brand within SPX FLOW, joins forces with Pompentechniek West (PTW) to deliver “rapid” assistance to horticulture customers, offering response times of 30 minutes and completing select repairs within a 24-hour window. Situated in thehorticultural hub of de Lier, The Netherlands, this market stands as ‘a global epicenter’ for the cultivationand export of flowers, plants, fruits and vegetable’. Being an Authorized Service Provider for Johnson Pump and regional greenhouse supplier, PTW aims to offer around-the-clock support to ensure customers stay up and running.

“PTW is our right arm when it comes to servicing customers that use Johnson Pump,” said Gerard Santema, Spx FLOW Global Sales Director of Johnson Pump Industry & Horticulture. “This streamlined approach enhances the customer experience when we can deliver the same day, respond 24/7 to reach not only this critical market but across Europe.”

How the partnership works:
Johnson Pump designs and manufacturers its pumps and spare parts, then PTW works to sustain the pumps over time for customers in the field.

Annually, the center repairs approximately 750 pumps across the region. “Thanks to PTW’s efficiency, it is not uncommon for customers to see pump turnaround in as little as one day,” the Spx Flow team says.

The PTW Authorized Service center keeps all types of Johnson Pump casing on-hand towards enabling swift and efficient service delivery.

Accordign to Spx Flow, the two most used Johnson Pump solutions in the horticulture market are the CombiLine Bloc and CombiLine pump series.

According to the company, De Lier is a greenhouse hub due to its favorable climate, access to waterways and location. Many large greenhouse manufacturers can be found here needing greenhouse technologies.
