On October 27, 2025, a governmental delegation from Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, visited Westland to explore opportunities for collaboration in the horticultural sector. The visit was organized by the Netherlands Vietnam Horti Business Platform (NVHBP), Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD), and the Vietnamese Embassy in The Hague.
Led by Mrs. Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the delegation was welcomed by Westland Mayor Bauke Arends. H.E. Mr. Ngo Huong Nam, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Netherlands, also attended the event. During the visit, a Memorandum of Meeting was signed.

The program featured presentations at the World Horti Center by Lenny Dijkshoorn (WHC), Mirjam Boekestijn (NVHBP and DGD), Sisi Chou (Municipality of Westland), and representatives from Grodan and Onings Holland Flowerbulbs. In the afternoon, the delegation visited KP Holland to gain insights into advanced plant propagation and cultivation technologies.
