Profile® Products has announced two additions to its Profile® Growing Solutions business: Bill Perdue as regional sales manager for the South-Central United States and Chris Freeman as senior technical specialist for the international market.

Perdue will lead horticulture sales in Louisiana, Texas and Colorado. He will represent the full Profile Growing Solutions portfolio and will work with the team to develop customized solutions for growers in the region. Perdue will also work closely with Profile’s distributor representatives to support Florikan controlled release fertilizer sales to large greenhouse and nursery growers.

Prior to joining Profile, Perdue spent the last four years with Dümmen Orange as the sales manager for tropical plants, managing a $25 million portfolio. With nearly 30 years of experience in distribution sales, including a tenure at Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, Perdue has worked with large growers across the U.S., particularly in the South-Central region.

“Bill’s deep understanding of the horticulture industry and his experience in distribution sales make him an invaluable asset to our team,” said Mark Wilson, sales director of horticulture at Profile Products. “His ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers, coupled with his knowledge of the full product portfolio, will ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and solutions.”

In Freeman’s role as a technical specialist for the international market, he will drive global sales of the HydraFiber substrate. Freeman will work to extend HydraFiber’s reach into the international market following its introduction in North America.

Freeman has an international background, having worked on five continents, and he has served growers of various horticulture crops, including ornamentals and vegetables, both outdoors and in controlled environment agriculture (CEA). His expertise encompasses all aspects of crop production, including plant propagation, nutrition, integrated pest management (IPM), biological controls, substrates and controlled-release fertilizers. He earned his master’s degree in horticulture from Texas A&M University.

“We are thrilled to have Chris Freeman join our team,” said Dr. Michael Robeson, vice president of research and development at Profile Products. “His extensive background and commitment to excellence align perfectly with Profile’s mission to provide the best solutions for our customers. We are confident that his contributions will significantly enhance our ability to meet the needs of our growers and support our continued growth.”
