Traditionally, seed breeder Takii celebrates the start of summer with a consumer campaign centered around sunflowers. On Thursday, 20 June, a colorful sunflower wall will once again adorn Museumplein at the entrance of the Van Gogh Museum. Considerable online attention will also be devoted to the queen of summer flowers. For Takii and the Van Gogh Museum, the sunflower is the symbol to herald the summer.

Keeping sunflowers in the spotlight
Despite the current, predominantly wet, growing season that presents significant challenges for sunflower growers, Takii aims to keep sunflowers in the minds of consumers, thereby supporting the growers.
