Varieties of Suntory Flowers were again lighting up music’s biggest night. On February 5, the 65th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles took place, and for the 4th year, Suntory was partnering with Bloom Designs. This year, besides their Moon carnations and Applause roses, their Senetti plants were also used in the floral arrangements designed by Tu Bloom.

“We’ve found our Applause roses and Moon carnations to be the perfect fit and donated nearly 3,000 stems produced by Suntory’s Florigene Flowers division in South America. Special thanks to Mellano & Company on the floral distribution side”, says Suntory’s Delilah Onofrey, who joined the Bloom Designs crew for the first time for the entire setup.

In live plants, they supplied 400 pots of Senetti produced by Armstrong Growers. “It was a great opportunity to showcase two newer varieties – White Red Heart and Rose Glow. These plants filled the bases of 24 large planters lining the red carpet. Tu also incorporated Senetti Rose Glow into a few floral arrangements. Many happy workers were excited to take Senetti plants home after the show, along with floral bouquets.”

Beyond the red carpet, Tu used Applause roses and Moon carnations in special arrangements for the media center, where all the performers go before and after their performances and accept their awards.

Two special arrangements were inspired by the sponsor, Grey Goose vodka, incorporating feathers and natural elements.

Delilah was again very excited. “Each year just gets better and better! We’ve also partnered with Tu for the Philadelphia Flower Show potting parties, March 3-12, where consumers will plant combinations featuring Senetti grown by Peace Tree Farm.”
