With barely a month to go to the fair’s opening, the organizers of Plantarium|Groen-Direkt are finalizing the preparations. Exhibitors are busy completing their profiles on the website, the layout has been made, and work is about to start on defining the outlines on the fair floor. Right now, the finishing touches are being made to the interior design of the trend plaza. “I don’t want to give away too much about it yet, but we expect it to be a real hotspot,” says fair manager Marjolein Wieckardt.
Plantarium|Groen-Direkt is fully booked to the very last square meter. With more than 160 growers’ stands and the 5000 sample layers of Groen-Direkt’s Spring Fair, this spring edition will kick off the new garden plant season in the best possible way. Companies still interested in hiring space for a stand are placed on a waiting list for in case any of the standholders should be unable to attend after all.
Romeo Sommers
Trend plaza + young talent
At the center of the fair will be the trend plaza – a source of green inspiration for exhibitors, visitors, and journalists. Trend and green specialist Romeo Sommers will be combining plants and pots to create attractive, surprising, and trendy products. In his presentations, he will pay attention to the impact of climate change and how best to respond to it in an environmentally conscious but also trendy way. Romeo will be supported by young talent in his creative efforts – inspired by his examples, students will also create various trendy

Visitors’ favorite
A fair revolving entirely around garden plants like Plantarium|Groen-Direkt would, of course, be incomplete without novelties, which is why the spring edition will include an inspection to determine the ‘Visitors’
favorite’. You can still register for this inspection! The products participating in this inspection will be presented at the very entrance to the fair. During the fair days, the visitors can vote for the product that they find the best novelty. The winning Visitors’ favorite will be festively announced at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 February.
“On 7 and 8 February, Plantarium|Groen-Direkt will be the number one place to be for anyone professionally involved in the world of garden plants. Plan your visit and make sure you include stand 558, the fair organizers’ very own stand, to meet us in person while enjoying a tasty surprise,” are Marjolein’s inviting words to all visitors and participants.
