Köder Gartenbau inspires at the IPM

During IPM 2023, the family business Köder Gartenbau exhibited for the first time. The expectations of owner Johannes Köder and his team were more than fulfilled.

The young and finished plants company from southern Germany was able to attract many interested visitors and new contacts every day at their stand in Hall 2.

For years, Köder has made a very good name for itself with its outstanding cultivars. Köder also focuses on innovative perennial products such as Coprosma, Euphorbia, Trifolium, Hebe iBE®, Scleranthus, Leptinella, Mühlenbeckia and grass mixes that generate added value for customers, either solo or in combinations, throughout Europe.

Johannes Köder: “We were unsure whether we, as a local family entrepreneur, would suit to an international fair like the IPM. But our decision was absolutely right. We had fun, had many interesting discussions, and were also able to initiate new business.”

“Quality has become more and more important for us. The higher price always pays off in the end – also for our customers,” adds Mark, son of Johannes Köder, who already actively supports the family business.

On the occasion of the IPM, Köder’s new product catalogue was presented, which features many novelties that are cultivated in ultra-modern greenhouses on the Swabian alp. The stand was designed and built by the company itself. The rustic wood panelling connects to the wooded homeland and gives a vibe of southern German cosiness at the international plant fair.
