Indian tissue culture producer Rise n Shine Biotech Pvt.Ltd, Pune., recently expanded in terms of their infrastructure and production capacity. “Now, we have a high-tech tissue culture laboratory of 280,000 sq. ft. with a production capacity of more than 45 million plants per annum. It enables us to serve our production alliance partners nationally and internationally for the production of crop varieties like floriculture, horticulture, and nursery crops like Gerbera, Carnation, Orchid, Chrysanthemum, Gypophilla, Limonium, Spathiphylium, Bromeliad, Anthurium, Banana, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Pineapple, Citrus fruits, Thai Guvau and various other nursery plants”, says Dr., Bhagyashree Chairperson & Managing Director of Rise n Shine Biotech Pvt Ltd, Pune, India.

Besides their tissue culture lab, they also have an R&D lab of 8000 Sq.ft. “This lab is certified by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), which also has a Unique facilities Molecular Biological Laboratory for Virus indexing.” And they have 180,000 sq. mt. completely controlled greenhouses. “These greenhouses produce 100% virus-free plants.”
