Floral trends come and go, but the green and white color palette never seem to date – especially a green and white floral theme that embraces seasonal flowers. The Real Flower Company offers both ‘ready-to-wear’ wedding flowers, which can be delivered throughout most of the UK, or bespoke wedding flowers.
You can browse the ‘ready-to-wear’ wedding flowers collection here, which includes: bridal bouquets, bridesmaid’s posies, buttonholes, flower crowns, and floral displays for your venue.
The Real Flower Company shared some white flowers by season for inspiration. All of the flowers are grown on British Flower Farms or a sister farm in Kenya. Hampshire Flower Farm has just completed its 2021 carbon audit, and it also holds a LEAF Marque for sustainable farming practices. Kenyan farm operates to the social and environmental standards and has achieved a Gold Standard for the second year in a row as part of a pioneering UN environmental initiative.
English Peas are grown naturally under glass in the company’s dedicated West Sussex nursery, and it is often the white and ivory Sweet Peas that are the first to bloom. English Sweet Peas lend themselves to a British wedding with their shape and exquisite scent. Spring is also the time when the English Lily of the Valley comes into bloom.

Summer on the farm is always such a feast for the senses. Each week, or sometimes each day, more flowers come into bloom. During the summer, English roses take center stage, including Margaret Merrill – the rose that inspired founder Rosebie Morton to set up The Real Flower Company. Margaret Merrill makes a centerpiece for wedding flowers with her understated but beautiful form, ivory blush petals, and unforgettable scent. There are so many beautifully textured and aromatic herbs that perfectly compliment a green and white color scheme, including different varieties of Mint, Sage, Geranium, Dill, Silver Lavender, and Basil.

In Autumn, the color palette on the farm shifts in hue – Dahlias steal the show and are always a popular choice for wedding flowers. Clouds of Hydrangea add texture and interest, and Snowberries and Wax Flowers punctuate the more exuberant blooms.

The partnership with Tambuzi put The Real Flower Company in a position to offer sustainably grown, carbon-neutral scented roses throughout the year. Brides often request David Austin’s quintessential white English rose, Patience. Early in the year, scented English Paperwhites are in bloom. Hellebores, Hyacinths, Ranunculus, and Anemones can also be found in shades of white and cream.
