During the Dutch Flower Trials, more than 60 breeders have opened their doors simultaneously to customers and other interested parties coming from all over the world. These visitors often come from far away and traditionally take tours around the greenhouses, marveling at the latest botanical miracles conjured by the various breeders.

After some strange years, when the event could not take place, or was downscaled, the FlowerTrials event is now back to its old form. The various venues are packed, and Dutch weather has been clement too as the sun has been shining brightly over the greenhouses
Eric Jan Slingerland with Selecta celebrated his 60th birthday yesterday.
The organization itself publishes a daily update of the show. Yesterday, presenter Robert Prein visited P. vd Haak, Volmary, and Westhoff. “Why do people really have to come and see the FlowerTrials?”, he asks everyone who comes to see him on camera. Chris Finlay of Volmary puts it nicely: “It is the floriculture center of the world”. See the video below.
Of course, FloralDaily will also be present to visit as many locations as possible. A full report and photos will follow soon, so stay tuned!
