The Salon International de l’Agriculture au Maroc (SIAM) is currently being held in Morocco. All the agricultural sectors are represented at this prominent trade show.

The fair also features a Dutch pavilion with the companies LBP, Horti XS, Angel Eggs, PUM, AgriPrecision, Filata, Geerlofs, Hoogendoorn, Koppert, Orange Corners, FrieslandCampina, Eleaf, Royal Brinkman, Metagrhyd, and TGS.

Yesterday was the first trading day, and according to LBP’s Anton Filippo, there were especially many dignitaries. Those included the Moroccan prime minister and the minister of agriculture and their sizeable entourages. Today is also expected to be busy.

“There are mostly many engineering and related sector representatives with fewer fruit and vegetable stands. But we still hope to welcome relevant visitors from the fruit and vegetable sector,” Anton says.

Jeroen Roodenburg, the Dutch ambassador to Morocco, was one of the people who visited the LBP stall.
