“Creating an environment of trust between employees, suppliers, and customers”

Sem-Ka Plastik, a Turkish manufacturer of thermoform pots and seedling trays, has been active in their field for over 20 years, producing their products from recycled raw materials that can be recycled again after use. These days, they are mainly looking to expand in the areas they are already active in, such as Europe, Asia, and Africa, providing growers with their quality products for a lower price in accordance with world standards regarding plastic.

The company prides themselves in producing clean, quality products to be used in the greenhouse and agriculture sector. Their seedling trays are meant to provide ease of use in the growth and development of plants and seeds, as well as allow the seed to meet with the soil and enable our producers to grow productive products.

“Our products are made from recycled plastic. In the sector, this is called second-quality raw material. We recycle waste plastics, turning them into a brand new product, ensuring that they are used again for many years to come,” says the chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Turgay Kaya.

Working with customers
One of the ways in which the company sets themselves apart from their competitors across the globe is in how they handle their customers’ needs and works together with their customers.

“Our customers are directly involved in agriculture and tell us which product will be used and when and which product needs what kind of change. We design our products as a direct result of working with them and owe our years of experience to our collaboration with our customers. We are constantly improving the quality of our products, creating an environment of trust between employees, suppliers, and customers.”

Currently, the company has a lot of customers in Europe, Asia, and Africa, mostly working with European countries. However, they want to further advance into those countries they are already active in by making visits to customers, actively participating in agricultural fairs at home and abroad, and increasing their social media presence to promote their new products and features.
