The Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden, Asia’s largest tulip garden, nestled between Dal Lake and the Zabarwan hills in Srinagar, welcomed visitors on March 19.
“This season, the tulip garden will have 16 lakh tulips in bloom,” according to floriculture officials. They have also planted around 68 distinct types of tulips, in addition to a great number of other flowers.
Nearly 25% of the garden is already completely bloomed. Officials believe that if the weather is nice and the temperature stays above 15 degrees Celsius, the Tulips will completely bloom and reflect the grandeur of nature.
They stated that they also prepare crates from greenhouses, which they ensure blossom in greenhouses so that when the doors open, customers are greeted with tulips all around. These pots are used to decorate the entranceway. Over 3000 flower pots are made with a lot of labor for the guests.
