Identifying and choosing the right variety is one of the most decisive business decisions that a flower grower can make. Buyer preferences are ever-evolving, and the varieties must deliver not just the visual appeal but also predictable performance in real production conditions.

As such, from February 16 to 20, 2026, breeder Danziger will open their facility and trial fields at Beauty Line Flowers, on North Lake Road, Naivasha, allowing growers to assess new flower varieties and their other complementary crops during their Open Days.

Allowing Growers to Evaluate How New Genetics Respond to Different Conditions

Naivasha is one of the world’s most influential flower-growing hubs, supplying Europe, the Middle East, and other emerging markets with widely differing demands on qualities, like stem length, color stability, and postharvest performance.

Hosting Open Days in this setting allows growers to evaluate how new genetics respond to the same altitude, climate variability, and production pressures they face on their own flower farms. The Open Days are timed to coincide with grower planning cycles for new plantings and replacement decisions ahead of the upcoming season.

Experience Danziger’s Senti® Series of Roses

During the Open Days, Danziger will feature varieties, including their Senti® assortment of roses, which are bred for uniform growth, predictable flowering, and stem strength under commercial conditions. Growers attending the event will be able to assess these varieties’ architecture, shoot development, bud size, stem presentation in the field, and other characteristics.

Rose Senti® French Kiss is a pink variety aimed at premium retail and bouquet programs. Rose Senti® Intensity is a deep red variety aligned with high-demand periods such as Valentine’s Day.

Rose Senti® Joyful targets high-volume production systems, where synchronized flowering supports labor efficiency. Rose Senti® Ambivalent Love is a bicolor option for mixed bouquets and differentiated retail assortments. Numerous others are attracting great attention in the markets.

Companion Crops and Other Plantings

In addition to roses, Danziger will showcase companion crops for growers supplying bouquet manufacturers and event florists. Phlox and Sorghum will be displayed as structural and filler elements. Others include standout selections like Unicorn™, Sunova™ sunflower, Limonium White Neto™, and many more.

The displays focus on factors like crop performance and integration into existing farm infrastructure. Growers can assess their growth habit, cutting frequency, and harvest windows for these crops alongside rose production.

An Opportunity to Experience Danziger’s Wide Assortment

Notably, these Open Days provide technical access to Danziger staff in the field. Growers can discuss crop behavior, yield patterns, and disease tolerance, and get feedback from export markets. One-on-one meetings are available for reviewing trial performance or addressing performance issues in current plantings.
